Content Design & Copy

  • Varraco Roasters

Varraco Roasters is a small D2C coffee brand based in California. Varraco reached out to me to better help communicate the language of their product, roasted coffee. They initially went with a marketing agency to put together website. However, the agency spent more time on the visual design and less on the copy, which ended up being a lot of generic language that they took from other websites with similar product. I re-organized the flow and direction of the website, from restructuring the order of items on the landing page to changing the micro copy of buttons, added new pages, and created brand-new copy for the brand in a consistent tone that was also optimized for SEO keywords.

  • Era of We

Era of We approached me to lay the foundations of their entire content management system. The SaaS company’s goals are to streamline supply chain efficiency. I took on a management role by onboarding exceptional writers, setting up an organizational flow for their learning hub, and serving as the final say on any other written content. I also partnered with the UX designer in order to write dozens of landing pages, micro copy like push notifications, and a 12-page white paper.

  • Webacy

I wrote two blog posts for Webacy, a SaaS platform that manages digital assets in the afterlife. Both required extensive research and organization, with the topic of managing assets like cryptocurrency and social media accounts after death being very nuanced.

  • Bean N Bean Coffee

I did a handful of small copy tasks for this small family-owned coffee roaster, who was in the middle of a major rebranding project. I wrote some copy for their bags, as well as several blog posts.

  • Best Coffee

I was approached to write 60 pages of UX copy for the Best Coffee cafe directory app, which involved visiting 60 coffee businesses in New York City, taking photos, and marking which ones had key factors like wheelchair accessibility, restrooms, milk alternatives, etc.

  • Goldstar Events

Goldstar was one of the first clients I worked with as a freelancer. I wrote copy for the event discount website, with the focus of getting users excited about trying out new events in a way that was brief but meaningful.
